For the first time in decades of ChillyWillyFan.com being up and running, some bot started hacking my site with a defacement attack. Cleaned it up and upped my security to help prevent attacks like that from happening again. Also in the process of cleaning up the Desktop navigation icons, removing some and upgrading others. One part of that navigation upgrade had me make the new TV icon for going to the Cartoons page. I'm rather proud of that cute little TV image. Until completed, the navigation icons will be a little inconsistent across the site, but that should only last a few days. After that I'll take a look at the Mobile navigation since I know there's a couple fixes I need to do there. [10/28/25]
Without getting too technical, apparently the Chilly Willy cartoon videos weren't properly "web optimized," but they are now. This means they should now stream much more smoothly with little to no buffering. Enjoy! [1/28/25]
Just to give you an idea what it takes to restore these old Chilly Willy comics, here's a "Before & After" of the first panel of the latest comic I'm working on, titled Flying High. Back in 1958 when this comic came out, they were limited by time, budget, and most importantly technology constraints. Add many decades of aging paper, and you can see from these pics what's involved in restoring them to what (I believe) the original creators intended. It takes patience and care to properly remaster these comics. [1/22/25]

Modified the metadata on all the cartoon and comics pages and also put all of the main content above the fold (meaning you don't have to scroll down to see it). Added 2 new videos to ChillyWillyFan.com that until today I was unaware even existed. Found some Rare Footage of the Chilly Willy costume character at Universal Studios Hollywood back in 1991. Also found out that Chilly Willy makes regular appearances at PortAventura theme park in Spain. Enjoy! [1/7/25]
Outstanding news!! The merging of mobile devices and desktop PCs for viewing ChillyWillyFan.com is complete 🎉! Ended up being a whopping 197 webpages that needed to be updated, but this site has never looked more amazing. Lots more new content planned so look forward to it 😃 [1/6/25]
Merged the mobile and desktop versions of the Fan Drawings and Coloring Pages, including all of the individual coloring pages. [1/5/25]
Merged the mobile and desktop versions of the Voice Actor, Creator and Drawing pages, which means I'm officially done with all of the root level pages and just have some sub-pages still needing to be merged. Also there's lots of new content planned for ChillyWillyFan.com that you'll be seeing in the near future. [1/4/25]
Many improvements to the music pages, such as adding lyrics (still need to set up the karaoke-style lyrics), album art, sheet music, etc. Also added a new page for a Big Band Theme Song. [1/3/25]
Three more pages in the Music section have been updated, leaving only 2 more to go there. Also updated all the archived update pages going all the way back to the year 2000. [1/2/25]
Updated the Popular Theme Song page to merge the mobile and desktop versions. Now that I have a template, the other music pages should be updated quicker. I also plan on incorporating a karaoke-style display for the music pages with lyrics. That update will be later after the the desktop and mobile versions of the site have been fully merged. 👍 [1/1/25]
