Huge backend change, removing all "www" text from site links (there were a few thousand of them). It's a no-longer-needed relic from earlier browsing, so time for it to go. [2/22/26]
Updated the Ice Wall, the Map, and the Search pages to all link together. By this I mean for any Ice Wall entry you can click the 🗺️ emoji next to the location and see that Chilly Willy Fan on the map. For any marker on the map, you can click the 🧊 emoji next to the name to see that Chilly Willy Fan's Ice Wall entry. For any search results, you can click the 🧊 emoji to see their spot on the Ice Wall or the 🗺️ emoji to see their spot on the map. All 3 pages are now inter-linked to each other, making it more fun to explore and find other fellow Chilly Willy Fans. [2/12/26]
Updated the Ice Wall Map to have standardized locations. Previously there were entries on the map for "chicago, il", "Chicago, IL", "chcago", etc. There were Ice Wall entries from "Brazil" that were on the map as "Br". It was kind of a chaotic mess because the map marker location data came from what was typed onto the Ice Wall. This led to typos, mispellings, lack of capitalization, etc. Now I've coded the Google Maps Geocode API to resolve these issues by standardizing the Ice Wall locations on the map. [2/11/26]
The Chilly Willy Ice Hockey game has finally been released and I couldn't be more proud of it. Still working on getting it released on the Play Store and App Store, but that paperwork is REALLY annoying and I may just leave it as a website-exclusive for ChillyWillyFan.com. It already plays beautifully on phones, tablets, and computers. [1/19/26]
I noticed someone signed the Ice Wall "from the future", lol, so that clearly meant I hadn't coded the Ice Wall to display times locally. That's now been fixed and all times are now displayed in your local time zone. Also the Ice Hockey game is finally complete and it looks amazing! All that's left is to get it up on ChillyWillyFan.com and also prep it for submission to the Play Store and App Store (it'll be free 👍). [1/14/26]
The Chilly Willy Ice Hockey game is nearly done. Currently stands at over 4,500 lines of coding. Just polishing the mobile features such as touch controls and troubleshooting the ports to iOS and Android. [1/2/26]
